Leni Riefenstahl used the theme from Act 1 Prelude as part of the score of Triumph of The will
--and there are some images that resonate with the Wach Auf Chorus in Act 3.
are there some ideas here
The part where Meistersinger music is used is not so overtly Nazi---
rather its just a series of Idyllic shots discovering Nurembrg.
At the end of the sequence rows of Tents for those gathered in Nuremberg to see the Nazi Rally.

Now many years later I've started to work a bit and hope to continue the next weeks.
First up the soccer game. I started by generating images in midjourney. and then animating them via ComfyUI using LTX-2
I've had in mind a close up foot kicking a ball. don't know why, thought it would look good.
Created that image. plus some others.
I like it in the rain and mud
prompt included german flag and fans
I completely failed at getting faces

Then turned that foot into video. AI is so wierd. It'll be sad when it's finally can do what it promises.
At the moment the mistakes are so much better than any reality.
In any case I feel like the grotesqueness of it is something necessary.

I tried to image a commercial for a Bank. I saw a sequence of Bank building through the ages. and a voice over saying "Pogner Bank, We've always been there, and we'll always be there"
I made a bunch of bank images - i like the grungey 1980's version as well as the 1950's

Summer Rehearsal Start 29 July

It's been a long time since I made the muddy soccer players. But I still like them. The colors seems to fit the old mens club look.

Last time working with football images I couldn't get good shots of fans in the stadium, this time much better.

Tried to go through all the football looks. bird's eye view from above, fans with flags, shots on goal
trying to get AI to do what you want is really annyoing. and not efficient. But I did end up with some nice stuff.
The idea will be to use these shots as first frames tht I give to AI to generate sequences.
Ideally I will get a whoel football Game. That i can score as i will

I floated my idea that asking what the video wants is a good strategy for guiding, developing, styliziing and basicaly thinking through how vifdo functions in the work
At the very least it helps me as the video maker collect the ideas into one bag instead of just making a lot unconnected things
As we talked the idea came up -- i dont know why? -- and maybe I don't even remember it correctly, but...
In the first act the video wants to be some sort of hypno german culture mulcher commercialization device.
It replaces the old master paintings on the wall, with new digital tradtions kitsch copies mixing with football, another tradtion, famous german composers, and all repackaged to sell Eva, to insert eva as tasty piece "real german " pie.
How to figure this out right
It wants to be an hypno/sales device that leverages German Traditions, -from old masters to football, to do its work.
Does that even make sense?
I don't know, but look back again at the Leni Riefenstahl clip -- german traditions/ music repackaged as propaganda... so nothing is new.

Actually you coud take the Soundtrack from Triumph of the Will and put it to this commercial, and the soundtrack from the coke commercial and put it on the triumph of the will clip

I made the left picture, collage in photoshop, Chatgpt ate it and remade it like the right picture

I haven't been able to animate it correctly yet.
LTX2.3 seems to always want to treat the image as a still and pan across or zoom into it. but no movement of the characters
This is a bug I need to figure out how to fix.
Second project today: I photographed Anke, very quickly, cell phone during a short break
Gave it to chatgpt to remake. much better than z-image which I'iv ebeen using and much easier to prompt.

the images from yesterday didn't work, finally found out what was wrong, the LTXV Preprocessor was too low. only 18 not 42. ha waddya know.
